Discover the Hidden Gems of Baja California Sur!

At Go Baja Sailing School, we have been setting the standard for ASA sailing training in La Paz since 2010. We specialize in immersive 6-day, 6-night liveaboard courses aboard our 45’ Dufour Monohull, featuring 4 double private cabins. We also offer ASA 101, 103, 104, and 114 combo courses aboard our luxurious 45’ Fountaine Pajot and Lagoon Catamarans, all equipped with 3 and 4 double private cabins.

Our courses cater to both beginners and experienced sailors, with options ranging from 1 to 14 nights. To ensure personalized instruction, we limit each course to a maximum of 6 students. All our boats are federally licensed to navigate protected areas such as Balandra Bay and Isla Espiritu Santo.

Your adventure begins with a unique Saturday 6 PM check-in, featuring an all-inclusive Mexican Fiesta at our sailing base overlooking Marina Costa Baja. You’ll spend the night in your private cabin before courses commence promptly on Sunday at 9 AM, concluding by 3 PM on Friday. At Go Baja Sailing, we focus on maximizing your time on board for a fulfilling sailing experience.

What better place to learn to sail than the Sea of Cortez? With calm waters and minimal motion sickness, it’s like sailing on a lake. Explore pristine islands rich in marine life, protected by years of conservation efforts. Isla Espiritu Santo, just 8 miles offshore, is a prime example of this natural beauty.

Groups of four or more booking our all-inclusive liveaboard enjoy complimentary private transportation from SJD to our sailing base in La Paz, thanks to the new 4-lane highway that makes the 2-hour drive a breeze. Alaska offers direct flights from LAX to La Paz (LAP), and the vibrant dining options around our marina make it a fantastic location for your ASA courses. We also provide marina condos and luxury Airbnb options for groups of up to 15.

In southern Baja, you can forget about cold, rain, and snow! Our winter is like summer, with water temperatures in the 80s from November through June. This is our 7-month high season.

Check our website for the monthly “Baja Special” for affordable all-inclusive rates for single and double occupancy. Our ASA-certified captains are featured on the site, and we provide three meals a day, including fresh local fish and shrimp on three nights. Our boats are equipped with Starlink Internet, SUPs, kayaks, and snorkel gear. Each course includes an international logbook and a trial membership to American Sailing.

Join us aboard our 45’ Dufour monohull for ASA 101, 103, and 104, either as an individual in a double private cabin or as two people in a shared cabin, saving you $500 per person. Alternatively, experience our Catamaran courses aboard our Fountaine Pajot and Lagoon boats for ASA 101, 103, 104, and 114, with similar savings available for shared cabins.

Reserve your spot with a $750 USD deposit for monohull courses and a $1,000 USD deposit for catamaran courses, securing your private cabin and ASA materials to start your studies now!
